How do minutes work?

Each minute of audio you upload counts as one minute from your monthly allowance. A 30-minute meeting uses 30 minutes. Business and Enterprise plans have unlimited minutes.

What counts as a seat?

A seat is an active user in your organisation. Deactivated users don't count and aren't billed. You can add or remove seats at any time.

Can I switch plans?

Upgrade any time. Changes take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period. Your data is never deleted on downgrade.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Every organisation's data is fully isolated at the database level (row-level security). Audio is deleted after processing by default. We're designed for SOC 2 Type II compliance. For maximum control, Enterprise includes on-premises deployment where nothing leaves your network.

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or startups?

Yes. <a href="/contact">Contact us</a> for details. We offer reduced pricing for registered nonprofits and early-stage startups (under 20 employees, under $5M funding).

How does the free trial work?

Start a 14-day trial of Pro or Business with full access to all features. No credit card required. After 14 days, choose a paid plan or stay on the free Starter tier. Your data stays safe, nothing is deleted.

Do all plans include all features?

Yes. Every plan includes all core features — transcription, search, Ask Kyaxa, prep briefs, team sharing, and API access. Plans differ by meetings, seats, and storage. Governance features (audit log, org admin) are available on Business and above.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your meetings, transcripts, and minutes are never deleted when you cancel. Your data stays safe and you can reactivate at any time to restore access.
